Description

This is the short version of the famous and stunning Inca Trail, for those who have less time available but do not want to loose this unique trek. We start at km. 104 and we walk till the ruins of Wiñahuayna where we we stay for the night. Next day we depart very early to Inti Punco, the entrance of Machu Picchu at 2,650 meter above sea level.

Itinerary

  • Day 1.
    6:30 Transfer from your hotel and transport by private bus to km 104 where we will start the trek. The first day we walk about 5 hours till Wiñahuayna where we will stay for the night.

  • Day 2.
    4:00 After breakfast we depart to Inti Punco, the entrance of the old Inca town of Machu Picchu. In Machu Picchu we will have a guided tour of aproximately 2 hours. Afterwards we will descend to the village of Aguas Calientes from where we will take the train back to Cusco. Estimated arrival time in Cusco is around 9:00pm.
