Lima

Torre Tagle Palace in Lima The department of Lima is located in the middle western part of the country. The western part by the Pacific Ocean and the east part limits the Andes. The best places to visit are the Plaza de Armas, churches and convents, museums and mansions, archaeological areas and the beach, in adition to many other points of interest.

Cusco

Cusco's Main SquareCusco holds the title of the archaeological capital of America with pride. There is no other place on the whole continent where you so easily visit the ruins of a amazing culture, still in a good condition.

The contrasts between indigenous and western cultures, history and the present give Cusco its special beauty.

Sacred Valley

Cusco: Sacred Valley of the Incas While visiting the circuit, traveling along the rivers Urubamba or Vilcanota, you will find the towns of Pisaq, Yucay, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero. In every town you can find pre-Hispanic archaeological ruins, built by the different Incas and used as citadels or resting places. Perfect places for buying handmade goods.

Machu Picchu

Quillabamba

Cusco: Quillabamba landscape This is the capital city of the province of La Convención and an important commercial centre for the valleys of Lares and La Convención. The principal activities are the production of coca, coffee, cacao and fruit.

The city was founded on the 25th of July, 1857, and has a climate that is especially good for carrying on different sports activities. Here you can meet with nature-adventure tourists, since the city is the principal access to the Megantoni nature reserve.
