El clima de Arequipa es muy privilegiado. Es seco todo el año y soleado. Llueve solamente de enero a marzo, durante el verano, y el resto del año se disfruta del sol y de un clima templado con una temperatura media de 20º C. En las noches la temperatura desciende hasta una media de 10ºC pero el clima seco ayuda a sentir el frío con menor intensidad.
